Our Wedding Day was May 7, 2009 at sunset on Treasure Island Beach, Florida...and it was the most beautiful day of our lives....The weather was GORGEOUS and this will be a day the two of us will treasure for the rest of our lives! Below is a pic of the gorgeous white sand and blue water which was the backdrop of our special day....
These are our flip flops and when we would walk in the sand it did the imprints that said JUST MARRIED!!! Too Cute!!~
Here is the happy couple and below is our little flower girl Kelsey
We are all dressed and ready for the BIG day and for the first day of the rest of our lives together!!!
This my bouquet of calli lillies and orchids and Kelsey's flower girl petals...
Here Comes the Bride, all dressed in white......and if you look closely you can see Duane and the minister in the distance by the water....
Instead of doing the unity candle we did the unity sand and we combined our sand into the beautiful heart sand container, as the two became one.....
Now for the vows and they were beautiful, Duane and I picked them out and they will be the words that we remember forever as life continues on...I, take you my partner in life and my one true love. I will cherish our union and love you more each day than I did the day before. I will trust you and respect you laugh with you and cry with you loving you faithfully through good times and bad regardless of the obstacles we may face together. I give you my hand, my heart, and my love from this day forward for as long as we both shall live.
Here we are exchanging our rings.....These rings, a token of your love for one another, serve as a reminder to your commitment made here today before God. This symbol of union is a perfect circle, without beginning, without end, with no area of weakness. When you are engulfed in anger or in sadness, these rings shall serve to remind you that your life goes on, that moments pass. Just look to your hand, and remember that the wheel turns forever onward, and it is love that turns the wheel.
We finished up the vows and the exchanging of rings and then as you see below we did the sand ceremony.....
Now you may kiss your bride....and Duane did just that that!!!! YAY!!!! :)
And off we went into the sunset to take more photos, and as you can see in the pic below the sunset was soooo BEAUTIFUL!!! The perfect time for a wedding....
And they lived HAPPILY EVER AFTER........
As he carries me over the threshold...
After the wedding we went to a place called Don Cesar "pink mansion" and its beautiful and we ate at the Maritana Grille there....Here are some pics of us at the restaurant, having our wedding cake and champagne.
